Cons: Homework every class
Ramming is fantastic at what she does. She loves her students and wants nothing more than to see them succeed, not only in her class, but in life. Go to class, because she has extra credit attendance quizzes. She has five built into the grading system. Go to discussion for easy attendance points and so you never miss a quiz. Labs are super easy -- your TA will walk you through them and they are an easy 100. Homework is assigned each class, but that's okay because they help SO much on tests. Speaking of tests, DRAW YOUR FBDs. They're easy points.
Tests are very straightforward
Works lots of examples.
Gives extra credit on days she knows you didn't want to show up.
Gives fair warning to what will be on exams.
Cons: Homework due every class period.
Cons: Homework and examples done in class are no where near the difficulty of questions you would see on an exam.
I genuinely think that if she were to make the tests a hour and a half she would have a drastic increase in grades. Many times I felt like I was rushed even when I knew the material like the back of my hand.
Also people who say she's "hot" are wrong. She's okay looking, but she's the only okay looking woman engineering professor on campus so everyone says she's hot (i.e. The Danica Patrick Effect).
Cons: Homework is due before each and every class, and sometimes was difficult and more advanced than what was taught.
Loved the class and material. By far, the best engineering class I've taken so far and the best teacher.
Cons: There is a TON of homework. 3 problems due every class period.
Fairly hard class. Test are only 50 min. long and have 4 problems.
Cons: exams are harder than example exams and homework questions
Cons: Gives way to much homework
Cons: , but she sometimes she tends to skip steps, where I like to see it worked all the way out
good teacher, but the TA's are a hit and miss
Cons: Only examples in class
Cons: Three homework problems due each class period.
Explains concepts very thoroughly and has a great attitude towards students.
Cons: Some of the tests questions involved some difficult geometry
Does a lot of examples in class.
Is very helpful in office hours.
Is very nice!
Cons: Ummm...None!
Cons: Doesn't always post solutions for every problem.
